To enter into a contract for an additional
building surveyor and engineering resource to support the team to
manage the repair and maintenance of corporate property assets for
5 days a week for a term of 16 weeks from 18/11/25 at a cost of
££32,000, plus a mileage allowance of up to
£1,000.

Reasons for the decision

Due to need to maintain assets safely and in
good repair, additional support is required whilst 2 building
surveying and engineering posts are vacant. Resources have been
budgeted within the service from the savings in vacant roles and
has been approved by the strategic director.
