Decision

RESOLVED: that

1. The purchase of 40 affordable homes at Waverley Lane, Farnham and 8 affordable homes at land south of Wrecclesham Hill, Farnham, as set out in the business cases at Exempt Annexes 1a and 1b and associated Exempt Appendices of the agenda report, subject to approval of the required budget by Full Council and subject to the consent of West Surrey Shadow Authority, be approved.
2. The request for consent from West Surrey Shadow Authority for the acquisition of 48 affordable homes in Farnham, as set out in the business cases at Exempt Annexes 1a and 1b of the agenda report, in accordance with the Section 24 Direction, be approved.
3. Delegated authority be given to the Joint Strategic Director Economy, Planning and Place to negotiate and enter into all contractual, pre-contractual and other documentation with developer and other third parties as required for the acquisition of the properties covered by the agenda report, provided all such actions are in accordance with the approved budget.
4. The sale of the eight shared ownership homes at Waverley Gardens, Farnham and three shared ownership homes at Farnham Oaks, as set out in the agenda report be approved, and delegated authority given to the Joint Strategic Director Economy, Planning and Place the authority to negotiate and complete all conveyancing and other documentation with the purchaser and other parties as required.
5. Delegated authority be given to the Joint Director of Housing in consultation with Portfolio Holder for Housing (Operations) to approve the future sale of percentage shares.

RECOMMENDED that Council RESOLVE: that the required total budget of £14,454,118 outlined in Exempt Annexe 2 be approved.
