Purpose

That the Leader of the Council
to make a non-key decision to agree a supplementary estimate to
fund the transitional costs of the restructure of Legal
Services.

Content

The Leader of the Council, having considered
the report and recommendations, RESOLVED to
 

a)    
Note and support the proposals for maintaining current service
delivery levels of the in-house legal team; and

b)    
Note and support the Borough Solicitor’s proposals as to next
steps in the restructuring process, as more particularly set out in
paragraph 7 of the Report; and

c)    
Agree to an in year supplementary estimate of £199,999 to
provide for the additional costs of taking those steps.
