Executive Director of Transport for West Midlands approved a grant funding award of £1,482,089 to Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council for the A41/A4038 Walsall Town Centre Walk, Cycle and Bus Corridor project on 23/04/2026. The current CRSTS earmarking for the project was increased by £32,089 to £1,932,089. Authority was delegated to the WMCA Section 73 officer to agree grant terms and conditions and to the CRSTS Senior Responsible Owner to amend the legal Project Completion Date.
