The Executive Director of Transport for West Midlands was delegated authority to enter into contracts for the completion of outstanding works to close out the Wolverhampton City Centre Extension project. This decision was made on 02/09/2026 and approved the drawdown of £4m funding from the City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement. The WMCA will agree proposed funding arrangements with the City of Wolverhampton Council.
