RESOLVED: Cabinet approved and
adopt the draft Climate Change Strategy.
 
REASONS RESOLVED:
·      
The Climate Change Strategy builds on the work of
the previously approved sustainability strategy and will support
the delivery of a number of United Nations Sustainable Development
Goals (UN SDGs), in particular UN SDG 13 Climate Action.
·      
The adoption of the strategy will provide a
strategic framework for the planning and delivery of the 2045 net
zero target, this will include the development of an action
plan.
