RESOLVED: Cabinet
received the annual report of Northamptonshire Safeguarding Adults
Board 2024 – 2025 (Appendix A) and notes the
findings.
REASONS RESOLVED:
Under the Care Act 2014 Section 43, the local authority has a duty
to establish a Safeguarding Adults Board (SAB), which in turn has a
core duty to publish an annual report. The report provides
assurance to the local authority of the activities undertaken to
help safeguard adults across West Northamptonshire and the
county.
