RESOLVED: Cabinet received the
Annual Report of Northamptonshire Safeguarding Adults Board 2022
– 2023 (Appendix A) and noted the findings.
 
REASONS RESOLVED:
Under the Care Act 2014 section
43, the Local Authority has a duty to establish a Safeguarding
Adults Board, who in turn has a core duty to publish an annual
report. The report provides assurance to the Cabinet of the
activities undertaken to help safeguard adults across
West
Northamptonshire.
