The Strategic Planning Committee of West Northamptonshire Council approved the retrospective planning application for a change of use of an industrial building to a Waste Transfer and Treatment Facility at Cottage Farm, Unit 11, Hartwell Road, Roade, NN7 2NU on 16 June 2026. The decision was made in accordance with the Case Officer’s recommendation. The committee approved the application subject to conditions including restricting HGVs passing Roade Primary School during designated school pick-up and drop-off times and formalising the proposed hours of operation.
