RESOLVED that:

a)   
The Panel agrees that its work programme for 2024/25
should include work in Northamptonshire on the following
areas:

·        
Neighbourhood policing

·        
Prevention in the Fire and Rescue service

·        
The Big Conversation and perceptions of community
safety

·        
Support for young people

b)   
The Panel requests to be engaged in the development
of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner’s new Police, Fire
and Crime Plan prior to the final proposed Plan being presented to
the Panel.

c)   
The Panel requests that a workshop session on the
development of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner’s
proposed precepts for 2025/26 be organised for January
2025.

d)   
The Panel requests that a briefing session with the
Chief Constable and the Chief Fire Officer in an operational
setting be organised.

e)   
The Panel agrees to continue its membership of the
East Midlands Police and Crime Panels Network for
2024/25.

f)    
The Panel agrees to continue its membership of the
National Association of Police, Fire and Crime Panels for
2024/25.

g)   
The Panel agrees that the Panel meeting scheduled
for 5 September 2024 be rescheduled to a date in September to be
confirmed following the current meeting.
