RESOLVED: Cabinet:
a)   
Approved the recommended option to commence
procurement of Enterprise Resource Planning System Cloud Hosting
with the incumbent supplier, through the Lead Authority Shared
Service arrangements.
b)   
Delegated authority to Assistant Chief Executive in
consultation with the Executive Director Finance and Cabinet member
for HR and Corporate for awarding and executing a contract for the
provision of Enterprise Resource Planning starting April 2025 and
extension periods.
 
REASONS RESOLVED:
1.    
The proposal enables the Council to secure an
Enterprise Resource Planning provision beyond December
2024.
2.    
The Enterprise Resource Planning provisions enables
the council to manage its day to day operations like paying staff
and suppliers.
 
ALTERNATIVE OPTIONS:
The options considered
were:
•       
Procure 3rd party payroll support and retain the
Enterprise Resource Planning solution.
•       
Outsource payroll to a payroll managed service
provider, and retain an unsupported Enterprise Resource Planning
solution for financials.
•       
Procure and implement a separate payroll software
solution, and retain an unsupported Enterprise Resource Planning
solution for financials.
•       
Enter into new commercial agreement for the
Enterprise Resource Planning solution with current provider via a
compliant procurement route.
•       
Procure alternate integrated Enterprise Resource
Planning solution.
