RESOLVED: Cabinet;
1.    
Authorised the Assistant Director Assets &
Environment in consultation with Executive Director Finance and
Finance Portfolio Holder to dispose of each of the following sites,
in each case with the ability to enter into any documents or
agreements useful to facilitate or enable the proposed
transactions.

      
i.         
Former Bolton House, Wootton Hall Park,
Northampton.

     
ii.         
Ridgeway House, Towcester.

   
iii.         
Land at Dallington
Grange, Northampton.

   
iv.         
The brownfield site described in the confidential
appendix.

    
v.         
123 Watling Street Towcester (part of the Riverside
Resource Centre site).

   
vi.         
Welford Pocket Park, Welford, to Welford Parish
Council for less than best consideration (nil value transfer),
including the authority to consider any objections to the disposal
and take decision whether or not to proceed in the light of
them.

 
vii.         
Stonepit Open Space, Northampton to East Hunsbury
Parish Council, for less than best consideration (market value for
the proposed parking spaces only), including the authority to
consider any objections to the disposal and take a decision whether
or not to proceed in the light of them.
 
2.    
That once the Adults service use of the building has
come to an end, the Riverside Resource Centre, Towcester (except
123 Watling Street) be classified as a building for community use
and the Council’s Policy on the Use of Property by Voluntary,
Community, Social Enterprise, and Faith Group use of Property
applied (which will result in a less than best consideration (nil
value) disposal by leasehold).
