RESOLVED:
 
The Planning Policy
Committee:

a)   Agreed that the suggested
responses to the consultations on proposed changes to the planning
system as set out in Appendix A and delegates to the Assistant
Director for Planning to return the consultation response (as
amended by Committee) on behalf of the Council.

b)  Noted the implications of the proposed
changes for the planning service and for progressing the Local
Plan, agreeing that the current timetable in the Local Development
Scheme cannot be adhered to, and agreed that a revised Local
Development Scheme shall be prepared for consideration by this
Committee.
