RESOLVED that:

a)    
The HMICFRS report on the 2024 inspection of Northamptonshire Fire
and Rescue Service be circulated to Panel members by the
Secretariat to enable the Panel to consider how this might inform
its future work programme.

b)    
The Panel requests the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner to
confirm if Panel members can have the opportunity to observe
meetings held by the Commissioner as part of the development of her
proposed precepts for 2025/26.

c)    
The Panel requests the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner to
confirm if Panel members can have the opportunity to observe
meetings of the Police and Fire Accountability Boards.

d)    
The minutes of Accountability Board meetings be circulated to Panel
members by the Secretariat when these are published on the website
of the Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner.

e)    
The Panel requests that the Office of the Police, Fire and Crime
Commissioner Delivery Update and the Fire and Rescue Authority and
Policing Finance Updates continue to be presented to ordinary
meetings of the Panel.

f)     
The Panel requests the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner to
provide further briefing information to Panel members about strip
searching of children by Northamptonshire Police, in light of the findings
in the recent national report by the Children’s Commissioner
for England.
