Purpose

The Portfolio
Holder for Resources will be asked to consider and approve the
adoption of a Damp and Mould Policy which formalises how we
identify and address issues of damp and mould in our
properties.  It is good practice to set
out the council’s approach to identifying and addressing
issues with damp and mould in our own properties together with the
council’s responsibilities, tenants’ responsibilities
and how tenants can report a problem.

Decision

Resolved:

That West Suffolk
Council’s Damp and Mould Policy, as set out in Appendix 3 to
Report number: CAB/WS/24/001, be approved.
