Purpose

The Cabinet will be asked to consider the
recommendations from the West Suffolk Rural Buses Steering
Group  following its review of rural bus
services.

Resolved:
 
That:
 
1.          
The Rural Bus Review Steering Group’s recommendations, as set
out in Appendix 1 to Report number CAB/WS/25/052, be adopted for
implementation. 
 
2.          
The Cabinet prepares an action plan accordingly.
 
3.          
The £30,000 Rural England Prosperity Funding allocated by
Cabinet to the rural bus review action plan be allocated on the
basis set out in section 8 of the Steering Group’s report
(Appendix 1 to Report number CAB/WS/25/052).
 
4.          
The Overview and Scrutiny Committee be asked to review progress
with the action plan before the end of 2026/2027.
