Purpose

An informal consultation was undertaken in the areas of Three Bridges and Pound Hill in November 2024. This consultation was the second step officers would normally take in the Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) design process, as plans had already been drawn and it was decided to consult informally with a design.

As a result, of the responses received a formal Statutory Consultation was undertaken from 4th February to 25th February 2026 with residents and stakeholders on proposals to introduce an extension to the existing parking zone (G) and the creation of a new zone (L).

Overall, 37 representations were received during the consultation period. 5 representations were in support of the proposals, 32 objected. A summary of comments are outlined in Appendix B.

Decision

The Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport has approved that the proposals are not taken forward and that the Traffic Regulation Orders as advertised should not be made.
