Purpose
To approve the procurement strategy for the Transport Technical and Professional Services framework and launch of the Invitation to Tender.
Following procurement, successful suppliers awarded contracts will form a multi-lot, multi supplier framework which will provide a compliant route to market for the Combined Authority and our District Partners to call off specialist support from a wide range of suppliers providing technical and professional support services from initial policy development through to implementation.
Decision
Following the conclusion of the Strategic Development Partner Framework, the need was identified for a framework to enable continued professional support for our ongoing projects and programmes along with the wider transport pipeline. The establishment of this new framework will provide routes to procure a wider range of technical and professional support services from initial policy development through to implementation.
Engagement has occurred throughout the development of the
framework scoping phase and development of the Invitation to Tender, with internal teams, district partners, as well as briefings with the Chief Executive, and ongoing involvement and strategic direction from the Transport Capital Programme Director.
