Purpose

Kirklees Council has provided formal notification to the Combined Authority of changes in member nominations to the Scrutiny Committee.

The revised nominations require appointment to be made subsequent to the appointments approved at the annual meeting of the Combined Authority Board on 25 June 2026.

These appointments are approved by the Committee and Governance Services Manager, in accordance with the notification received from the relevant partner council, in order to facilitate the timely administration of the Combined Authority’s business.

Decision

The Committee and Governance Services Manager has confirmed the below appointment with immediate effect.

Scrutiny Committee:
Cllr John Hardie (Reform) to replace Cllr Jane Barraclough (Reform).
Cllr Luke Fallas (Reform) to replace Cllr Glennis Harrison (Reform).

Appointment to take effect from 26 June 2026.
