Purpose

On 14 September 2026, Bradford Council provided formal notification to the Combined Authority of a change in nomination to the Scrutiny Committee.

The change requires appointment to be made subsequent to the appointments approved at the annual meeting of the Combined Authority Board on 25 June 2026.

This appointment is approved by the Committee and Governance Services Manager, in accordance with the notification received from the relevant partner council, in order to facilitate the timely administration of the Combined Authority’s business.

Decision

The Committee & Governance Services Manager has confirmed the below appointment with immediate effect.

Committee name: Scrutiny Committee.
Member appointed: Cllr Ian Reed (Reform) nominated to replace Cllr Adam Thompson-Day (Reform) as Member on the Scrutiny Committee.

Appointment to take effect from 14 September 2026.
