Purpose

On 21 July 2026, Kirklees Council provided formal notification to the Combined Authority of member nominations to the Weaver Network Board.

The nominations require appointment to be made subsequent to the appointments approved at the annual meeting of the Combined Authority Board on 25 June 2026.

These appointments are approved by the Committee and Governance Services Manager, in accordance with the notification received from the relevant partner council, in order to facilitate the timely administration of the Combined Authority’s business.

Decision

The Committee & Governance Services Manager has confirmed the below appointments with immediate effect.

Committee name: Weaver Network Board.
Member appointed:
• Cllr Luke Fallas (Reform) as Member, (ending his appointment as a Scrutiny Member), and
• Cllr John Hardie (Reform) as substitute member.

Appointments to take effect from 21 July 2026.
