RESOLVED:– That the Combined Authority Board approved the recommendation of the Employment Panel made on 8 October 2026 and appointed Mike Palin as Interim Chief Executive and designated him as Head of Paid Service with effect from 2 November 2026, to remain in post until commencement of the substantive Chief Executive/Head of Paid Service appointment or such earlier date as determined by the Combined Authority.
