David Redfern, Director Leisure, Culture & Communities, confirmed the scope of the Marlborough Leisure Centre Refurbishment Project and approved its progression to RIBA Workplan Stage 3 (Spatial Co-ordination) on 14/06/2024. This decision includes extending the fitness suite, adding a consultation room, upgrading HVAC systems, installing new fitness and audio-visual equipment, extending the wet-change facility, reconfiguring space to Sport England guidance, installing a Changing Places facility, and upgrading HVAC systems in the wet-change area.

CLLR Caroline Thomas, Cabinet Member for Transport, Street Scene and Flooding, agreed the schemes to be included in the Council's 2023/24 Highways Capital Programme on 14/06/2024. This programme includes funding for local safety schemes, school travel plan improvements, projects supporting economic growth, accessibility, and the environment, traffic management, structures, and highway major maintenance. The programme also notes the use of additional pothole funding.
