Cabinet Member for Highways, Streetscene, and Flooding decided on 09/06/2026 to give notice of intent to make a decision on proposed parking controls at the junction of the C414 and New Road (Widam), Purton. This decision aims to improve conditions for road users and residents. The Cabinet Member will consider representations made by 16 June 2026.

Further delegated authority was given to respond to the Examining Authority's questions, represent the council at hearings, add comments on draft requirements and planning obligations, and carry out community benefit negotiations and statutory functions.

Cabinet Member for Highways, Street Scene & Flooding decided on an unspecified date to consent to an application to stop up highway adjacent to 1 The Ham, Kington St. Michael. This decision was made on the grounds that the section of highway is unnecessary for public use or any other highway-related purpose. Kington St. Michael Parish Council consented to the application on 16 January 2025.
