Cllr Mel Jacob, Deputy Leader of the Council and Cabinet Member for Communities, Engagement, and Corporate Services, decided on 21/01/2025 to endorse the draft revised plan submitted to the DfE in December. Cabinet approved seeking agreement for the revised plan from the Department for Education and an adjustment to request a block transfer of the maximum amount that can be transferred without impacting school budgets.
