The Wirral Planning Committee is responsible for making decisions on planning applications and related regulatory matters as the local planning authority. It determines applications for planning permission, listed building consent, and reserved matters, as well as applications for advertisement display and telecommunications masts. The committee also handles matters such as hedgerow removal, works to trees, hazardous substances consent, and functions relating to public rights of way and town and village greens.
