Purpose

The report requests and recommends that JSCB
approve the award route for the new contract for the Intermediate
Care Beds at Clatterbridge Intermediate Care Centre. The contract
is requested to be awarded to Wirral Community Health and Care NHS
FT using the Most Suitable Provider route under the PSR
regulations.

Decision

Resolved: That a contract award be issued to Wirral Community NHS
Health and Care Foundation Trust (WCHC) by NHS Cheshire and
Merseyside Integrated Commissioning Board (C&M ICB), by way of
the Most Suitable Provider process in accordance with the Provider
Selection Regime for a contract for the provision of Intermediate
Care beds at Clatterbridge Community Intermediate Care Centre on
the basis of NHS Standard contract terms and in accordance with the
specification set out in Appendix 1 of this report.
