Purpose

On 21 January 2025,
Adult Social Care and Public Health Committee agreed the contents
of a report seeking authorisation to commence a formal tender
exercise for a new Mobile Night Service for a period of 3-years
with the option to extend for a further 2-years. The authorisation
also gave delegated authority to the Director of Adults, Health,
and Strategic Commissioning to award the contract to the successful
bidder, following the tender process.
Following intense commissioning activity which included market
engagement and consultation with key stakeholders, the procurement
exercised has commenced. Once this is concluded, a report will be
submitted at the end of April 2025 and the purpose of the report
will be to notify the Director of Adults, Health, and Strategic
Commissioning of the outcome of the competitive tender process and
request for the Mobile Nights contract to be awarded to the bidder
that submitted the Most Advantageous Tender (MAT).

Decision

The Director of
Adults, Health and Strategic Commissioning has approved the award
of a Care and Support at Home Mobile Nights Service contract to the
Preferred Provider- Provider G, as the most advantageous tender
with a contract term of three years from 1st September 2025, with
an option to extend for a further two years at a contract value of
£4,594,401 over the initial term.
