Purpose

As part
of its investment portfolio, Merseyside Pension Fund owns a number
of properties across the UK.  It is
essential that these properties are well maintained to ensure
compliance with regulatory/environmental standards and to attract
and retain tenants.  The report seeks
approval from Pensions Committee for the appointment of a main
contractor to undertake refurbishment works at Castle Chambers,
Liverpool, one of the Fund’s property holdings.
 
 

Decision

Resolved – That the Pensions Committee:

 
1. 
endorsed the procurement process as outlined within the report;
and

 
2. 
delegated to the Director of Merseyside Pension Fund the
appointment of a main contractor for refurbishment works of Castle
Chambers, Liverpool, and that the outcome of the procurement and
contract award be reported to a future Pensions Committee for
noting.
