Acceptance of Funds from LCRCA to deliver
elements of the Get Britain Working agenda.

Resolved – It be approved that
 

1. 
(a) The Council’s allocation of funding from the Liverpool
City Region Combined Authority of up to £5,040,092 to deliver
the Individual Placement Support element of the Connect to Work
programme in Wirral as set out in this report be noted; and
 
(b) Future updates be brought
back to Economy, Regeneration and Housing Committee as part of the
scheduled performance updates.
 

2. 
Authority be delegated to the Assistant Director: Chief
Regeneration Officer to:

 
(a) Agree with the Liverpool
City Region Combined Authority the Council’s finalised
allocation of the Individual Placement Support element of the
Connect to Work programme in line with the available delivery
timescales, and
 
(b) Commence an open
procurement process for the Council to secure an external provider
to deliver the Individual Placement Support element of the Connect
to Work programme in Wirral and subsequently award a contract for
delivery to the Most Economically Advantageous Tenderer.
