Decision

The Director of Law
and Corporate Services has decided to award a contract for 3 years,
with the option for a further two 12-month extension from November
2025, to Thrive for the provision of the corporate learning
system.
 
The contract has been
purchased by direct award to BOXXE Ltd via Crown Commercial
Services- RM6098 Technology Products and Associated Services
Framework Lot 3.
 

Reasons for the decision

For the past three
years, our organisation has successfully utilised the Thrive
learning platform, building familiarity to individuals.  Remaining with the Thrive platform ensures a
seamless experience, eliminating the need for retraining on how to
use the system and reducing disruption. Additionally, it allows us
to save valuable time and resources that would otherwise be spent
developing and implementing a new system from scratch.

Alternative options considered

Microsoft Learn was
explored as an alternative option. 
However, this would have taken a considerable amount of time in
building a brand new platform and does not offer all of the
functionalities of the current learning platform.
