Purpose

Report to seek approval regarding funding and
policies to support delivery of charging infrastructure

Decision

RESOLVED: That the
Environment, Climate Emergency and Transport Committee:
 
1. 
note the update regarding the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure
Strategy and the Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure funding;
and
 
2. authorise the
Director of Neighbourhoods to:
 
a) agree with the
Liverpool City Region Combined Authority any appropriate legal
agreements (such as that set out in paragraph 5.2) that may be
required to progress the delivery of the Local Electric Vehicle
Infrastructure project for public on street and car park electric
vehicle charging infrastructure; and
 
b) work with the
LCRCA to develop and participate in an LCR wide pilot project to
evaluate various cross footway solutions for charging vehicles
using a home chargepoint where residents do not have a private
driveway, subject to all technical and safety considerations being
appropriately managed.
