Purpose

This report recommends acceptance of a tender
for Carriageway and Footway Retread. Recommendations will be : The
Director of Neighbourhood Services has agreed to:

1. endorse the competitive tendering exercise that is outlined in
paragraph 3 of this report; and

2. award the contract

Decision

The Director of Neighbourhood Services has
approved the award a contract for  the
A1.3 Carriageway and Footway Retread to Colas Ltd, company number
02644726, as the most advantageous tenderer, for an estimated
contract value of £850,000 for a term of 3 years.
