Purpose

This report recommends acceptance of a tender
for Carriageway Structural Resurfacing.

Recommendations

The Director of Neighbourhood Services has agreed to:

1. endorse the competitive tendering exercise that is outlined in
paragraph 3 of this report; and

2. award the contract for Carriageway Structural
Surfacing

Decision

The Director of Neighbourhood Services has
approved a contract for A2 Carriageway Structural Resurfacing to
Hanson Quarry Products Europe Ltd 
company number 0300002, as the most advantageous tenderer, for an
estimated contract value of £11,000,000 for a term of 3
years.
