Decision

1. 
The implementation of the previously agreed housing allocation
policy is approved subject to minor amendments due to the need to
provide greater clarity, reflect legislative changes and the
procedural arrangements upon implementation as set out in Appendix
1
 
2. 
In order to implement
efficiently the new IT system that reflects the new policy there
will be a temporary suspension of new registrations and a short
pause in the advertising of vacant properties as agreed across the
Choice Based Lettings partnership.  This
suspension will be for a total period of 4 weeks to support the
transfer to the new system but will not include emergency
cases.
