Purpose

To agree to submit the interim plan for Local
Government Reorganisation in Surrey to the Government for the 21st
March 2025 deadline.

Content

RESOLVED

That  (i)    it be noted that the
Interim Plan, included
at Appendix 1 to the report, be proposed to be submitted to the
Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government on behalf of
the twelve local authorities of Surrey on or before 21 March 2025;
and

         
(ii)   the comments of the Council
on the Interim Plan be provided to the Executive prior to the
Executive making a decision on 19 March 2025.
