Purpose

To agree to submit the interim plan for Local
Government Reorganisation in Surrey to the Government for the 21st
March 2025 deadline.

Content

RESOLVED

That  (i)    the comments on the Interim Plan made by Full Council
at the meeting on 18th March 2025 be noted;
and

         
(ii)   the Interim Plan, included
at Appendix 1 to the report, be submitted to the Ministry of
Housing, Communities and Local Government on behalf of the twelve
Surrey authorities on or before 21st March
2025.

Reason:   The decision to submit
the Interim Plan to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local
Government on behalf of the twelve Surrey authorities is a decision
of the Executive.
