Purpose

To agree to submit the full plan for Local
Government Reorganisation in Surrey to the Government for the 9th
May 2025 deadline.

The Executive
RESOLVED

That  (i)    the Final Plan
options included at Appendix 1 to the report be considered and
noted; and

         
(ii)   taking
account of the comments from Full Council at the meeting on 8 May
2025, a three unitary council model in Surrey with three
Councillors per division should be commended to Government on 9 May
2025.

Reason:   To enable Woking Borough Council to
respond to the Government’s request for the submission of
proposals for unitarisation in
Surrey.
