To agree funding to support delivery of the
project.

The Executive Resolved

That (i)   the match
funding requested for the delivery of the project be agreed;
and

       
(ii)  assurances be sought from Surrey
County Council to confirm that Woking Borough Council will be able
to make meaningful contributions to the design of the project,
outside of the wider consultation phase.

Reason:  To enable Surrey
County Council (SCC) to progress with the works to the public realm
in this area, which have been a long term aim for both Woking
Borough Council and SCC.
