Purpose

To agree and endorse the principles and approach to developing the corporate strategy and financial planning, in line with Best Value Standards

Decision

It was explained that consideration of the Corporate Strategy had been deferred to allow time for the Strategy to be reviewed in order to reflect the Administration’s priorities which had been set out in their manifesto, aligning the ambitions of Elected Members and Officers.  The Corporate Strategy would be brought to a future meeting of the Shadow Executive.
