The Council agreed the
appointment of a Returning Officer and Electoral Registration
Officer, as follows:

(i)      Gareth John be
appointed Electoral Registration Officer under Section 8 of the
Representation of the People Act 1983 with effect from 9 February
2024; and

(ii)     Gareth John be
appointed Returning Officer for local government elections under
Section 35 of the Representation of the People Act 1983 with effect
from 9 February 2024.
