Purpose

To agree to the lease of S106 funding to
enable an improved bus service between Arborfield and
Wokingham.

Content

RESOLVED
that the Executive:
 

1)   
agreed to the tender of a contract for bus route 3
to increase the weekday and Saturday frequency to 30 minutes
between Arborfield, Finchampstead, Barkham and Wokingham Town. The
contract period would be 2 years with an option to extend two
further for one-year periods.
 

2)   
agreed to the release of any appropriate S106, as
detailed in Part 2, to support any decisions made in recommendation
1.
 

3)   
agreed to delegate the authority to award contracts
for the above bus service to the Director of Place & Growth in
consultation with the Executive Member for Active Travel, Transport
and Highways.
