Purpose

The purpose of this report is to seek
Executive approval to procure insurance cover for the
Council’s commercial property assets.

RESOLVED
that the Executive approved a request to:
1. conduct a competitive
procurement exercise to enable the Council to obtain the best value
insurance policy to provide adequate cover for the Council and its
tenants;
2. delegated the design of the
contract specification to the Director of Resources & Assets in
consultation with the Council’s insurance brokers.
