Purpose

to provide the Executive with an overview of
the public consultation feedback received on the proposed
Residents’ Parking Policy and to set out a recommended
approach for managing residents’ parking zones across the
borough

RESOLVED
that the Executive;
 

1.    
approved the Resident Parking Policy 2026 –
2031,
 

2.    
approved the introduction of a tiered pricing
structure for resident permits across all parking zones, setting
the cost of the permit for the first vehicle at £55 and for
the second vehicle at £105,
 

3.    
approved the introduction of visitor permits with a
pricing structure in line with benchmarking, setting the initial
price for a ‘book of’ 10 permits as, £12.00 for
3hrs permits, £20.00 for 6hrs permits 12hrs £30.00 for
12hrs permit and £50.00 for 24hrs,
 

4.    
approved the introduction of the proposed zone
boundaries T1, T2, T3 and T4 within Twyford town across all roads
consulted except for outside no’s 51 - 67; London Road
and
 

5.    
noted the Individual Executive Member Decision
process will be used to make the decision on proposed changes to
other resident permit zone boundaries covered in the consultation,
and implementation and transitional arrangements for all existing
resident permit zones.
