Purpose
The purpose of this report is to seek
agreement to proceed with the delivery of the first element Reading
Road Active Travel Scheme, which comprises new shared use paths,
segregated cycle/footpaths, and toucan crossings around the
Woosehill Roundabout. This was consulted on as part of one of the
four phases of the Reading Road Active Travel Scheme in 2023 /
2024. The next steps are to undertake detailed design prior to then
constructing the scheme on site.
