Purpose

To report the results of the statutory
consultation for the Wokingham Borough Council (Prohibition and
Restriction of Stopping, Waiting, Loading and Parking Places)
(Consolidation) Order 2023 Amendment 3 and to seek the decision of
the Executive.

Content

RESOLVED
that the Executive:
 
1. considered the objections
received to the proposed Amendment Order,
 
2. approved the proposed
amendments to the Hurst Road, Twyford restrictions considering the
objections received and,
 
3. approved the making of the
necessary Traffic Regulation Order, included the amended
restrictions, in accordance with the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984 and the Local Authorities Traffic Order Procedures 1996; and
instructed the Service Director for Highways & Transport to
inform those who have responded to the consultation
accordingly.
