Decision
RESOLVED that the Executive:
1) Approved the procurement, via an open competitive tender process, of a single integrated Supported Accommodation and Floating Support contract for care experienced and vulnerable young people.
- Noted that the contract will cover the Council’s portfolio of supported accommodation and floating support services, including 23 supported accommodation places and 26 places within shared transitional housing, delivering a combination of 24/7 staffed provision and transitional support across multiple locations.
- Approved a contract term of five years (3 + 1 + 1), with a total contract value of £3.14m, excluding any agreed inflationary uplifts.
- Approved the use of existing approved budgets to fund the contract, based on a baseline value of £628,000 per annum from 2027/28.
- Approved that the procurement and contract arrangements will include strengthened requirements for safeguarding, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, performance management and mobilisation to support the delivery of safe, effective and outcomes-focused provision.
