Purpose

The purpose of this report is to seek approval
of the procurement strategy options appraisal to procure buildings
insurance for leasehold ‘Right to Buy’ and shared
ownership properties

RESOLVED that the Executive approved
this request to conduct a competitive procurement exercise to
enable the Council to obtain the best value buildings insurance
policy to provide adequate cover for buildings insurance for
council leaseholders and shared ownership properties.
