Purpose

The Braybrook Centre, The Midpoint and The
Orchard Centre are the three schools situated on the Lawnswood
campus and are due to convert to academy status to the YES Academy
Trust on 1 October 2024.

Content

 
1. 
Approved the lease for the entire Lawnswood site as part of the
conversion and any other necessary documents, including a grant
agreement for the Council’s contribution
2. 
Approved the allocation of £130,000 of the SPCF budget to a
new capital project at Lawnswood Campus
 
3. 
Approved the allocation of up to £500,000 from the Budget
Contingency reserve to cover the potential deficit of the Midpoint
Centre on conversion.
