Purpose

Seeking approval for capital funds to support
the introduction of additional school places for September
2025.

Content

1.  
Approved the allocation of £250,000 from the approved capital
budget Secondary School Expansion Programmes to the budget for
works at Aldersley High School.
2.  
Approved the allocation of £200,000 from the approved capital
budget Secondary School Expansion Programmes to the budget for
works at Moreton School.
3.  
Approved the allocation of £800,000 from the approved capital
budget Secondary School Expansion Programmes to the budget for
works at Colton Hills Community School (Phase 1).
4.  
Approved that Capital Funding be released in order that all three
projects can be progressed in a timely manner.
5.  
Approved the Council entering into a Grant Agreement with Amethyst
Academies Trust in respect of Aldersley High School.
6.  
Approved the Council entering into a Grant Agreement with Amethyst
Academies Trust in respect of Moreton School.
